MARKETING COMMUNICATION SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

  • Work with Sales and Marketing Manager to support the development of short- and long-term communication and marketing strategies for all business units; provide inputs as required
  • Provide day-to-day management and oversight to the marketing team; lead marketing team members for marketing tasks and activities for each business unit
  • Coordinate, train or coach specific project teams on marketing activities
  • Collaborate with media, design, and website teams to deliver marketing collateral and content
  • Project manage, plan, prepare, implement and follow-up projects, tasks and activities
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in timely and in accordance with business guidelines, quality standards, and objectives
  • Develop annual editorial calendar of marketing campaign and communication activities for all business units to support execution of strategies
  • Ensure consistency in identity and branding for each ZJR business unit
  • Oversee implementation of marketing campaigns and communication activities which includes develop, design, execution, measurement and refinement of concepts and campaigns
  • Direct social media resources across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.), assist with picture selection, caption correction, video review, etc. in support of social media strategy
  • Provide support for writing and publishing marketing tools such as news articles, newsletters, magazines, flyers, invitations, advertisements, business- and trade publications online and offline
  • Maintain blogs and support the creation of new content as necessary
  • Support the implementation of SEO including copywriting, keywords, and partnerships
  • Ensure websites are relevant and up to date in terms of design and content
  • Coordinate and organize contacts with Public Relations and Media Relations and work with team to implement Public Relations and Media Relations strategy; work with influencers to increase brand reach
  • Report on marketing KPIs and provide update to management team on a periodic basis
  • Maintain customer and prospect database and email marketing lists; leverage for campaigns as required
  • Maintain central media contact database

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing
  • Significant experience in hospitality management; experience in health and wellness and food & beverage is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a small team
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Experience with marketing, digital marketing, social media and marketing automation tools, and technologies
  • Self-motivated, hands-on strong team leader with a confident personality and a collaborative working style
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Excellent written, editorial, and verbal communication skills; strong presentation and persuasion skills
  • Experience in project management, ability to manage multiple tasks independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to unforeseen circumstances
  • Attention to detail with a high-level of accuracy
  • Proficiency with office computer equipment and software
  • Proficiency in English is a must
